Exciting Opportunity for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator in Statesville, NC!
Join our dynamic team at a local company in Statesville, NC, where we are currently seeking skilled Material Handler/ Forklift Operator to fill a 1st shift opening starting Monday, December 2nd, 2024.
Key Responsibilities:

• Valid forklift certification or license and/or proven experience as a forklift operator. (2+ years required)
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be comfortable working indoors and in outdoor environments for up to 10 hours per day as needed.
• Experience on Propane powered sit-down forklifts is strongly preferred.
• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
• Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues.

• December Training Hours: Regular shift of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Shift: This is a 1st shift position, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Regular hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, however if production demands, employees should be prepared to work until 5:30pm and on Saturdays If necessary. Advance notice will always be provided for extended hours.
• Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $17.00 per hour depending on experience.
• Employment Type: This is a Temp to Perm position, offering a potential long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
