Job Details
- Must have at least 2 years of labor experience
- Preferred: 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes
- Typical procedures performed: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care
Job Requirements
- Weekends: Every third weekend
- On-call: 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule

- Unit: Maternal Infant Unit
- Number of Beds: 24
- Number of Staff: 71
- Staff Details: Day Shift - labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator; Night Shift - labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary
- Patient Ratios: Labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
- Equipment Used: GE fetal monitors
- EMR: Meditech, CPN
Unit Specific Information
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs, MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security
