Description
We are seeking a Paratransit Driver - Patient Shuttle to join our team and ensure the safe and timely transportation of patients. Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the Paratransit Driver is responsible for transporting PACE participants, including those who are wheelchair-bound, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle. If you have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and experience working with frail and elderly populations, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required License/Certification: Driver's License, BLS, First Aid
- Preferred License: Class B CDL with P Endorsement
- Required Experience: One year working with frail and elderly populations
- Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid Basic certification required within 30 days of employment
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
