The Automotive Pick-Up and Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting vehicles to and from our service facility. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive timely and efficient service.
What you'll be doing:
- Safely pick up and deliver vehicles to and from customer locations.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after transport to ensure safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding pick-up and delivery times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including coordinating with the service team.
What we're looking for:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous driving experience, preferably in a delivery or transportation role.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of automotive operations is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to (insert weight) pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends if needed.
