Description
Job Summary:
The Truck Hiker is responsible for performing various duties related to the operation and maintenance of trucks and trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition for transport. This role involves physical activity, inspection tasks, moving trucks to various locations.
Requirements
Responsibilities:

• Must wear seat belt when operating company vehicles.
• Would be responsible for recording mileage.
• Inform management of any conditions which may exist on vehicles that you are operating such as dashboard lights, faulty driving lights, wipers, tire pressure, etc.
• Abide by all driving laws.
• Position at times would require at times delivering trucks to various locations. No overnight travel expected.
• May be asked to help with general duties to assist in safety and cleanliness of vehicles and facility.
• Represent Bentley Truck Services in a professional manner when dealing with customers and the general public.
• Keep vehicles clean.
• Assist other departments as needed such as delivering parts, mail, etc.
• May need to use forklifts and / or pallet jacks occasionally.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely.
• CDL B Required, CDL A would be a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Due to driving responsibilities position will require pre-employment and random drug screening. And annual MVR check.

$17 - $19/hour PT and FT Avilable
