Job Description:
Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a CDL Shuttle Driver to join our Final Assembly Line based in Mobile, AL.
The CDL Shuttle Van Driver will drive a passenger van on a designated route of travel. The driver will stop at designated locations to pick up Airbus employees and transport them to their desired destination.

In support of the Mobile FAL, our team members ensure the smooth transition from location to location. Assuring that Team Airbus members and our customers get safely to their destination.
Your working environment:
Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.
Your challenges:
Primary Responsibilities:

• 75%
• Drive designated shuttle route to provide employee transportation to and from the Airbus MMS.
• Monitor and improve turn times to assure that employee wait times are at a minimum.
• 25 %
• Record passenger counts per hour in order to track passenger volume from all stops.
• Record mileage to determine proper maintenance.
• 10 %
• Communicate with other drivers and supervisors on any route deviation or need.
• Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned:

• Clean interior of vans on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate with passengers on route needs.
• Overtime as required to cover driver shifts.

Your boarding pass:

• Basic driving experience of a passenger vehicle with little or no record of driving infractions.
• Experience driving transport vehicles larger than 15 passengers.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• CDL or large passenger vehicle experience.
• Required: Commercial Drivers License - Class C - Active Status.
• Required: Knowledge of vehicle operation.
• Time management skills.
• Required: Spoken and Written Proficiency in English.
