Director of Labor and Delivery

Job Summary: The Director of Labor and Delivery will oversee and manage all aspects of the labor and delivery department within the healthcare facility. This role requires a strong educational background and experience in working with students and higher education teaching.

Duties:

1. Develop and implement educational programs for staff in the labor and delivery department.
2. Provide leadership and guidance to the labor and delivery team.
3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
4. Monitor departmental budgets and resources.
5. Implement best practices in labor and delivery care.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. University degree in a related field.
2. Experience working with students or in higher education teaching is preferred.
3. Strong background in education administration.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
