( a Shuttle Bus Operator, you will operate a shuttle bus or a van on assigned routes, maintain documentation on ridership, conduct safety checks, and clean the vehicle. This person must be committed to establishing relationships with other UPMC employees to make their experience enjoyable. Shuttle Bus Operators must be punctual, customer-focused, and charismatic.Responsibilities:Maintain ridership information and report per company processes. Maintain route standards and only stray from the designated routes with permission of management or law enforcement.Participates actively in maintaining cleanliness standards in buses and UPMC facilities.Fuel the vehicle according to company policy.Understands and monitors D.O.T. compliance. Remain compliant with all regulations and guidelines established by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA), Driver License, Medical Card, Motor Vehicle Resource (MVR).Develop and foster a strong working relationship with all riders and co-workers. Provide the highest level of customer service to all passengers.
