We take great pride in servicing our customers in a safe and team-based environment. The primary activities in our operations department include unloading railcars/trucks of building materials, cycle counting, storing materials, breaking full units down into custom orders, and loading outbound trucks._Competitive pay and excellent benefits_Starting wage at the Dallas Distribution facility begins at $19.00 per hour (not including overtime). This role will perform manual labor 55- 65% of the time.What you will need:High school diploma or GED.Experience operating a sit-down forklift with 9,000 to 17,500-pound forklift capacityAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and move or slide up to 100 poundsWillingness to work outside in the elements five days a week and occasional Saturdays depending on business needsComputer skills: SAP or other Warehouse Management SystemsAbility to work cohesively in a team environment with strong attention to detail and accuracyWhat will make you stand out:2 or more years of experience operating a 9,000 to 17,500-pound forkliftWood products cutting experienceBuilding materials distribution work experience/ backgroundKnowledge of building materials/construction backgroundWant to hear why our employees love working at Weyerhaeuser?
