The Delta 360 driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and operation of fueling vehicles during emergency disaster response efforts. This role involves delivering fuel to affected disaster event areas, operating fueling equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This position is part of our Emergency Response Fuel Service Team that may require travel to support any disaster response event throughout the United States. This is a contract position to be filled for emergency response drivers at a day rate.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate fueling vehicles to transport fuel to designated locations in disaster-affected areas.

• Navigate and plan routes to ensure timely delivery of fuel while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.

• Load and unload fuel in compliance with safety standards and procedures.

• Operate fuel dispensing equipment to refuel vehicles, generators, and other equipment at disaster sites.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fueling vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

• Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues and coordinate repairs as necessary.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations related to fuel handling and transportation.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

• Participate in safety training and drills to remain prepared for emergency situations.

• Assist with the setup and operation of temporary fuel stations in disaster-affected areas.

• Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, usage, and inventory levels.

• Coordinate with the Fuel Operations Supervisor and other team members to ensure efficient fuel distribution.

• Maintain clear communication with the Fuel Operations Supervisor regarding delivery status, equipment condition, and any issues encountered.

• Prepare and submit daily reports on fuel deliveries and vehicle/equipment status.

• Respond to emergency callouts and be available for deployment on short notice during disaster events.




• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fuel transportation or a related field.

• Operating and reliable cell phone.

• Proficient in using portable tablets.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with vehicle/equipment maintenance.

• Excellent driving record with a strong emphasis on safety.

• Ability to work long hours in challenging conditions during disaster response operations.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in emergency response or disaster recovery operations.

• Certification in hazardous materials handling or related field.

• Familiarity with fuel management processes and logistics.
