Job Description$1,000 Sign on Bonus Offered to Eligible CandidatesGeneral Purpose:Utilizing DFA tractor and trailer, to transport raw milk from depot to processing plantDuties and Responsibilities:Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practicesFollowing dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milkTakes measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumptionVerify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination.Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level.Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnelThis is a part time position, specifically for weekend hours.Pay and Benefits:Competitive payEligible for Quarterly bonusesReturn Home DailyWe are proud to offer access to your wages on-demand, no need to wait for pay day!And more...RequirementsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED or equivalent PreferredMust have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence.Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement.Minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience (military experience does count towards this requirement)In lieu of 1-year verifiable driving experience, driver applicants may have successfully graduated from a FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training certified driving school.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must meet all DOT requirements.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirementsAbility to communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writingBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Ability to read and record accurate volume and weight measurementGood organization and record keeping skillsPunctualityAn Equal Opportunity Employer
