Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Jackson, MI

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** 7PM - 7AM, Every other weekend required
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
**License:** Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
**Certifications:** BLS, Advanced EFM certification, NRP certification
**Must-Have:**
- Advanced EFM certification (AWHONN's fetal heart monitoring courses do not fulfill this requirement)
**Job Description:**
- Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
- Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
- Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.
- Apply clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to develop effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department.
- Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
**Preferred Education:**
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
