General Comments: Unit Profile Hospital: Chippenham Medical Center Location: Address:7101 Jahnke Road Richmond VA Unit Name: LDRP Building: Cost Center: 70707 General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR · Patient Ratios : 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs · Type of equipment : Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring · Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN · Scheduling requirements: Every 3 rd weekend · Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP · Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Burn Certified/ Trauma Certified Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby Must have : Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds Certifications Required: Fetal Monitor Certification Dress Code : (Required uniform) · Navy Uniforms Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. · Schedule Guideline- see attached Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards.. · Unit Based Council, Daisy Award Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. · The unit is a small close knit family oriented unit.
