Policies, Procedures & Daily Operations
- Adhering to the policies and procedures of the company for the safe and secure transportation and delivery of marijuana and marijuana products.
- Preparing, loading, unloading, inspection, and operation of the company's delivery vehicles.
- Performing routine maintenance and regular cleaning of company delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels and replenishing fuel; transporting the company’s delivery vehicles to and from third-party service centers for preventative maintenance appointments as scheduled by the Director of Security & Risk Management.
- Sorting and delivering marijuana and marijuana products according to predefined routes and time schedules.
- Obtaining accurate information on registered patients and personal caregivers, such as telephone numbers, home addresses, and specific delivery instructions to facilitate efficient home delivery.
- Maintaining proper recordkeeping, such as chain-of-custody documents and payments received from registered patients and personal caregivers.
- Maintaining a cash bank issued by the company in accordance with the cash handling policies and procedures of the company to be used in the exchange of currency when accepting and processing payments for home deliveries.
- Maintaining locks and keys issued by the company to be used in the safe and secure transportation and delivery of marijuana and marijuana products.
- Performing general office work such as filing records, operating copy machines, or running errands.
Training & Development
- Attending training and development sessions focused on greeting patients and personal caregivers with a helpful, pleasant and compassionate attitude.
- making every interaction with patients and personal caregivers a positive experience.
- Attending training and development sessions focused on demonstrating proficiency with the company’s delivery management application and GPS and cellular devices.
- Attending training and development sessions focused on maintaining proper recordkeeping as it pertains to the transportation and delivery of marijuana and marijuana products.
- Attending training and development sessions focused on adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Attending workplace risk and safety committee meetings; assisting with safety inspections, accident investigations, the development of safe work practices and participation in risk management and safety training to maintain the policies and procedures of the company and ensure compliance with all state and local laws and regulations.
- Attending regular briefings with Director of Security & Risk Management to discuss short term objectives/action items and long-term strategic goals.
- Required to complete an annual driver's safety course
Driving Business/Sales
- Fast and discreet delivery of marijuana and marijuana products to the homes of registered patients and personal caregivers and between company locations.
- Responding to feedback and resolving complaints from registered patients and personal caregivers.
- Informing patients and personal caregivers about the company's marijuana products and services.
Company Culture
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Being a company brand-ambassador and coaching and developing employees to represent the brand appropriately.
- Participating in the company community outreach programs and building relationships with community leaders and trust from the company's neighbors.

Qualifications and Education
- 21 years of age
- Proven work experience as a courier or relevant position
- A valid driver's license with clean driving history with reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic condition
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Ability to work a minimum of 4 hours a day and rotating shifts.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions.
- General office environment.
- Extended phone usage including teleconferences.
- Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
