Job Description
Summary/objective
Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages the best alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage portfolio in the country, which includes several beloved global and regional brands. The Delivery Merchandiser (DM) is a key member of the Retail Sales team and is primarily responsible for the delivery of products and performing all duties associated with deliveries to assigned accounts in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Functions
• Perform all pre-trip vehicle inspections and fill out Pre-Trip Inspection Form.
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor and trailer.
• Make all scheduled deliveries within the account's delivery window.
• Deliver all accounts in accordance with Buffalo Rock Policy and Procedures.
• Develop and maintain positive professional customer relationships.
• Honor and follow through on all personal and business commitments.
• Communicate all transshipping activity in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures.
• Communicate any pricing/product discrepancies encountered during daily deliveries through the appropriate divisional channels.
• Communicate to the ADC/Supervisor any delivery issues with accounts.
• Properly complete and turn in all Invoices, DSD's, required account signatures, and required store stamps to Company/account Policies.
• Communicate daily with Supervisor on any product shortages, product returns, refused orders, changes to next delivery order, account information changes, or any operational items.
• Remove all damaged product on each account visit as dispatched following Company policy and procedure.
• Ensure pallets, trays are picked up on each visit, and documented by proper paperwork.
• Assist management in reporting competitive activity, achieving sales goals and metrics, and promoting Buffalo Rock Purpose and Core Values.
• Follow all Company Policy and Procedures as they relate to truck check-out, truck check-in, and all settlement processes.
• Required to work weekends and non-traditional hours as needed.
• Attend all scheduled meetings requiring your presence and / or participation.
• Responsible for sanitization, cleanliness, and the overall appearance of account/machines, stockroom and vehicle.
• Adhere to customer policies for vendors or suppliers, which may include but is not limited to business conduct policies, business ethics policies, legal policies, and delivery and merchandising policies.
• Responsible for the collection of monies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
