Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be safety-conscious, and have experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Kansas City, KS
Pay Range: $16.00 per hour
Shifts:
1st: Monday - Friday and some Mandatory Saturday 6:30am - 4pm
2nd: Monday - Friday and some Mandatory Saturday 4pm - 1:30am
What's the Job?
- Picking and pulling parts
- Loading and unloading containers
- Operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced production environment
- Moving materials around the warehouse
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area
What's Needed?
- Valid forklift certification (credential requirement: 100006)
- At least 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
