CLASS A TANKER DRIVER

Position Summary
Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Class A Tanker Driver to join our Transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of liquid materials using Tanker trucks. This role requires a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsements and a strong commitment to safety, environmental regulations, and compliance with transportation standards. The Tanker Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely, secure, and compliant deliveries, supporting the company's environmental sustainability goals.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate Tanker trucks to transport liquid materials to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain Tanker trucks, promptly reporting any issues or necessary repairs.
• Ensure the secure and efficient loading and unloading of liquid materials, following established safety protocols.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to maintain smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Tanker trucks to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, making necessary adjustments to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of liquid materials.

Requirements
Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (REQUIRED) with tanker endorsements (REQUIRED)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Class A Driver, with a focus on Tanker truck operations (REQUIRED)
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and liquid handling procedures
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Demonstrated reliability and a strong commitment to meeting delivery schedules and deadlines
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to operate the vehicle; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and handling hazardous materials.

Compensation
The Class A Tanker Driver position offers a competitive salary range averaging between $67,600.00 and $78,000.00 per year, based on performance. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching, generous paid time off, and life insurance coverage. The final compensation package will be based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills, in line with our commitment to offering competitive remuneration.
