We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the following opportunity.Forklift Operators2nd & 3rd Shift OpeningsStarting Rates: $18.35 ($17.35 + $1.00 Shift Premium)Pay increases $1.10 within 6 months and then .60 cents every 6 months!The Forklift Operator performs duties required to receive incoming components, stock components in correct storage areas, service production lines with appropriate components, transport finished product into trucks for transport to shipping facility, load final trucks for transportation to customer.Responsibilities:Unloading and loading of bins of parts using motorized forkliftScanning of labels to ensure proper storage, inventory control and customer shipmentsDetects and reports defective materials to supervisorConducts forklift safety checks on prescribed intervalsPerforms general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency)Other duties as assigned to maintain productionQualifications:Follows all safety requirements of the company -- PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) safe job behaviors, etc.Able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently by passing forklift training class and obtaining license.Required to lift to 50 lbs.Able to read and understand operation standards, job instructions and product labelsAble to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotasF&P America Manufacturing offers competitive wages with pay increases every 6 months.
