Job Details:

My client, a large Financial Services company, is currently seeking a dynamic and process-driven Delivery Lead for an immediate 5 to 6 month assignment. The Delivery Lead oversees and is accountable for delivery-team tactical execution and shepherds the full-delivery cycle for marketing campaigns of varying complexity. This role assists the Journey Manager in management of the backlog and owns coordination of work. The Delivery Lead uses a continuous improvement approach to ensure best practices and growth in team dynamics. Must be located in the LA area and able to work onsite 3 days a week.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have 5 to 7 years experience in a similar/related role.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project delivery with basic business and industry knowledge or related financial products; Digital and traditional marketing techniques.
  3. Ability to effectively plan and manage the work of others including managing projects across multiple teams or groups.
  4. Ability to influence groups and/or more senior associates.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills including facilitating a variety of meetings.
  6. Agile certifications (CSM, CPO) are a plus.
  7. A talent for performing and analyzing analytics to work assignments.

Salary: $60 - $64.76 per hour

Shift: First

Work Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures project delivery through adherence to standards, controls, processes, deliverables, and quality measures.
  2. Keeps leadership and stakeholders informed of progress against commitments and escalates issues as needed.
  3. Encourages open team dialogue to aid in expectation clarity, identify actionable opportunities, and address team roadblocks to efficient delivery.
  4. Owns and facilitates daily team stand-up meetings, runs team retrospectives, working to evoke dialogue and improve team dynamics.
  5. Operates with a Continuous Improvement Mindset.
  6. Looks for opportunities to improve team delivery dynamics.
  7. Uses team delivery metrics to guide start/stop/continue discussions.
  8. Constantly working to understand how to help the team improve estimation efforts to strengthen stakeholder trust.
  9. Analyzes delivery value stream with a mindset to eliminate process waste.
  10. Owns accountability for project team delivery.
  11. Proactively works to ensure team coverage model and capacity are understood.
  12. Sets and manages tactical tools to aid team in communication.
  13. Collects team delivery metrics and facilitates discussions with leadership to improve expectations and transparency of team capacity and health.
