An established and growing company that has 35 years' experience serving companies with their material handling needs is looking to add Crane Service Manager to their growing team near Billings, MT.
Service Manager Responsibilities:
Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the team's objectives.
Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat
customers.
Assisting with or performing tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, overseeing production of builds, managing and assisting with jobs in the field,
Monitoring department issues and client complaints to create methods to lessen recurring issues.
Auditing work and customer service to ensure the company's high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.
Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
Helping to train new employees in company procedures.
Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
Service Manager Requirements:
Min 2 years in a Lead or Service Manager type role within a similar industry
*Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
Strong industry knowledge.
* Crane maintenance experience a plus.
Professional and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Proven ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and problem solve
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Good driving record, valid driver's license required
Willing and able to travel around the state and out-of-town as required
Willing and able to work indoors/outdoors in extreme heat/cold and at heights for extended periods of time
Able to successfully complete background check and drug and alcohol screening(s)
Possession of a valid drivers license with good driving record
Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills.
Computer literacy and good organizational skills.
