Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Laramie, WY

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience
**License:** Current, valid RN license in good standing with the Board of Nursing
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if performing circulating or recovery room for C-section)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if caring for Pediatrics)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Intermediate and Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring Classes for Labor and Delivery Nurses
**Must-Have:** Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
**Job Description:**
- Provide and coordinate patient care through assessment, evaluation, and treatment with a primary goal of achieving wellness and recovery.
- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of care for patients within the scope of practice.
- Provide education to patients according to their individual needs.
- Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders effectively.
- Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel.
- Maintain excellent customer service skills, exemplifying a professional attitude both in person and on the telephone.
- Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and the general public, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate listening skills and the ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills to establish priorities effectively.
- Exhibit problem-solving skills and work effectively without immediate supervision.
- Learn new computer software programs effectively.
- Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability for the position.
