The Driver will be responsible, but is not limited to:

1. Safely transport patients/residents to appointments and other recreational activities
2. Maintain appropriate documentation for each trip
3. Pick up, clean and calibrate equipment as required
4. Perform small maintenance on vehicle
5. Maintain vehicle mileage/vehicle check log and service schedule
6. Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy
7. Report vehicle concerns to Director of Recreation for correction
8. Properly exchange Emergency Kits (E-Kits) at facilities
9. Maintain return delivery documentation as required
10. Ensure communication with supervisors for additional assignments prior to ending the shift
11. Able and willing to drive in various weather conditions
12. Maintain a clean work environment (i.e. leave the vehicle interior clean)
13. Become familiar with all routes and able to efficiently adjust the route for weather conditions and construction
14. Participate in continuing education programs
15. Attend staff meetings as required
16. Wear appropriate attire/uniform furnished
17. Any and all other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of driver services experience
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
• Ability to prioritize and organize work
