Job Requirements / Description
Purpose of Position:
To transport Team Members from the Team Member's parking lot to the TMCR in a safe and timely manner.
Education/Experience:
• Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a current California Driver's License - Class B, with passenger endorsement (bus driving experience a plus). The job duties will require operation of motor vehicles.
• As a requirement of employment a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Casino Resort's insurer is mandatory.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
• Previous hospitality (casino, hotel, valet, or guest service) experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Transport Team Members to and from Team Member parking lot and TMCR as directed.
• Transport Team Members and materials to and from Tribal Government offices.
• Inspect vehicle each shift for safety.
• Comply with all posted speed limit regulations and vehicle operation safety rules.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
• Service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Maintain a teamwork mentality to ensure efficient operation and a professional appearance and polite demeanor at all times.
• Assure excellent customer service, friendly and professional manner at all times. Greets each Team Member as they arrive with enthusiasm and a smile.
• Participate and support all guest service training programs which is designed to produce advocates for Table Mountain Casino Resort.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (available for morning, mid, evening, and night shifts, weekends/holidays as required).
• Follows applicable TMCR company policies and procedures including Hotel Operations policies & procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
Access to Sensitive Areas: Hotel/Casino storage areas, email access and all sensitive areas when accompanied with authorization.
Signatory Authority: None
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. A valid California Class B license is required. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to cigarette smoke; the work environment is noisy and employee will work indoors and outdoors; Work performed in areas with temperatures in excess of 115° and as cold as 15° (exposed to all weather conditions).
