VP, Delivery & Ops

RAPP Dallas is looking for a VP, Delivery & Ops to join our award-winning Program Management team.

YOUR ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience deploying and managing Azure SQL Database as a Service (DBaaS) solutions, along with a deep understanding of Azure cloud services and database management practices.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides ongoing thought-leadership to optimize processes for increased collaboration and time/cost efficiencies.
• Supervises program outputs to be in line with and curated from RAPP core disciplines.
• Navigates through program and team structures to centralize solutions around our 5 focus areas of CMR, Social Media, Commerce, Digital and Mobile.
• Assists the Lead Teams in procuring and managing talent.
• Strategizes with SVP and Finance teams to capitalize on business health.
• Accountable for maximizing profitability and overall client satisfaction.
• Ensures the successful completion of many concurrent projects.
• Acts as point of escalation internally and with the client for all delivery issues.
• Ideates, estimates and develops scopes of work and staffing plans.
• Supervises project plans and scopes to ensure ideal profit margins.
• Ongoing oversight on projects to ensure proper issues tracking and risk management.
• Sets and manages expectations and quality through effective communication.
• Leads cross-discipline teams to deliver smart solutions successfully.
• Supports the Client Service function in identifying growth opportunities.
• Acts as a role model and manages and develops Project Management team members.
• Serves as leader within Delivery Management Discipline.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years of project/program management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in a project/program management leadership capacity.
• Keen intellect, superior analytic skills.
• Team player that understands how to work effectively in a fast-paced organization.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Possesses excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent experience and training.
• Training and experience in several project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Expertise in various office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Powerpoint, MS Visio.
• Experience in workflow or tracking tools such as JIRA, Basecamp, Workfront.

RAPP provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits plan. A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role is $149,000 - $179,000. This range is specific to Dallas and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions.
