Job Description
Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work their bid shift, overtime, and weekends as required.
The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, operate a motorized fork lift, prepare packaging, package product and other duties as assigned by supervision.

Must be trained and certified on the forklift.

Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling (caustic, flavoring).

Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers.

Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines.

Load trucks in the prescribed manner.

Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets.

Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner.

Must have basic operation and repair knowledge of roll up doors.

Must be able to understand the inventory procedure.

Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations.

Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
Related Experience : Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Equipment/Software Skills : Basic computer knowledge - data entry
Competencies:
- Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams
- Learn and follow written rules and procedures
- Produce accurate documentation
- Maintain acceptable attendance
- Must be willing and able to learn various positions
- Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies
- Must adhere to and comply with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies
Additional Information
Physical: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights
