Summary
Coordinates and delegates the loading and unloading trucks and oversees inspection of incoming freight for damage.. Plans the movement raw materials or finished goods and other commodities to specified locations within the warehouse, and directs incoming trucks to proper staging areas. Delegates general responsibilities to forklift drivers across assigned campus. Oversees the accuracy and troubleshoots inventory issues utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory transactions. Conducts quality inspections and reviews inventory count and labeling for accuracy. Works independently between multiple warehouses and campuses as needed.

Works on a broad range of direct and indirect tasks, from simple to complex, across multiple campuses as needed.
Directs incoming traffic for effective loading of commodities and prioritizes workload
Identifies the strengths of team members and deploys accordingly to ensure timely execution of planned work.
Collaborates with dispatch to ensure all just-in-time loads, or shuttles are loaded for production.
Conducts quality inspections of staged material, performs tasks including warehouse management
system entry, performing forklift driver duties and inventory control procedures.
Drives a problem-solving culture by assisting and participating in implementation of LEAN tools.
Shares information at shift change-over and pass-down meetings.
Troubleshoots warehouse management system and inventory issues utilizing WMS systems including Swisslog, Softeon, SAP, etc.
Addresses at-risk conditions, even if no injury has occurred, and participates in corrective action.
Maintains all safety standards, 5S principles, GMP, PPE requirements, and LEAN ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Loads and unloads various types of freight.
Resolves issues related to the movement of customer products by interfacing with internal.
External parties to ensure timeliness of service escalating issues to Warehouse Assistants and Team Leaders as needed.
Conducts training in one-on-one as well as group settings.
Consolidates freight and creates space in the warehouse as needed.
Works cross-functionally with multiple departments, including Bottling Services, Dispatch, Repack, etc.
Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4years of experience in material handling and forklift driving reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus current Forklift Certification and 3 years of G3 experience in material handling and forklift driving.
Required to work 12 hour shifts, day or night shift, on multiple campuses.
Ability to obtain FLD certification within 30-60 days of employment.
Required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Basic PC knowledge.
Experience reading and interpreting BOL, instruction sheets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Experience in complying with safety standards maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area.
Experience with handling various sizes of palletized product.
Able to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus current Forklift Certification and 5 years of experience in material handling and forklift driving.
Experience supervising the work of others.
Skilled in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Experience with Clamp, Double fork, and Pull Pack Fork Lift attachments.
Experience loading and unloading rail cars.
Experience with electric stand-up lifts.
Skilled in comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence and memos such as email.
Experience conveying simple requests and needs to coworkers and management.
Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
Skilled in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area.
Experience with using company resources in a cost-effective manner.
Experience reading and interpreting documents such as BOL, instruction sheets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Experience with working in a team environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit on a lift truck and drive in and out of vans and containers. The employee is occasionally required to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds and clean-up any leaking or spilled liquids caused by broken containers that they were responsible for moving. Specific vision requirements are peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to moving parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The work environment may not be temperature controlled and potential exposure to natural weather conditions.
Compensation
- Hiring Hourly Rate: $25.96 - $30.48.
- Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
