Material Handler/Delivery Driver

Our client, a leading lumber and home improvement company in Amenia, New York is seeking a Material Handler, Delivery Driver to join their team. As a Material Handler you will be part of the home improvement team providing assistance to customers with home building needs. The ideal candidate will have superb customer service skills, teamwork attitude, commitment to excellence, and acute attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job title: Material Handler/Delivery Driver
Location: Amenia, New York
Pay Range: $18/hour
Monday-Friday
Shift: 7AM - 5PM
Flexibility for overtime

What's the Job?

• Receiving merchandise
• Filling orders
• Shipping merchandise to Customers and retailers
• Inspecting orders and products
• Loading products
• Operating a forklift
• Providing customer service
• Driving a box truck to make deliveries

What's Needed?

• Shippinging, receiving, or warehouse experience
• Forklift operator experience
• Operation of Box truck
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, and squat
• Ability to stand on feet for an eight hour shift
• Must have clean department of motor vehicle report
• Steel toe or composite safety toe shoes
• Keen eye to detail
• Inspection experience
