General Job Description - Warehouse Truck Driver
Reports to: Dispatch Manager
Job Summary:
Pullman Building Supply is currently looking for a self-driven, experienced Truck Driver with a clean driving record. Pay rate depends on skill level & relevant experience. Daily responsibilities include building loads, delivering orders to customers, and assisting customers with the unloading & placement of products. Must have the ability to work longer than an eight hour shifts when needed, and able to work the occasional weekend if needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must have forklift experience and certification
- Must be personable and able to offer outstanding customer service
- Lumber Building Materials Industry experience preferred
- Experience running short haul loads over various terrain during all seasons also preferred
- Working in warehouse during down time
Working Conditions:
Frequent traveling in a vehicle with both heat and air conditioning. Will be exposed to the elements while work outside during all seasons of the year.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Requirements:
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug test *
- Valid driver's license
