Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Redwood City, CA

**Job Title:** Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Labor & Delivery - Critical Need
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
**License:** Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
**Must-Have:**
- Winter Plan Need
**Job Description:**
- Provide direct nursing care and monitor medical conditions during labor and delivery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize specialized skills for high-risk labor and delivery cases, as needed
- Maintain and verify patient records and documentation accurately
- Educate and support mothers and families on birth and postpartum care
- Participate in unit meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to established protocols, guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills related to labor and delivery practices
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, and one year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years. High-risk OB experience is a plus.
