PrimeFlight Cargo has opportunities available for a *Full-Time Local Class A Driver located at the PDX Airport in Portland, OR. *The *Driver* is responsible for moving trailers in and out of specific locations within the airport yard using a *yard goat/jockey. *We offer internal promotion opportunities and a competitive wage!
*Compensation: *$25/ hr.
*Schedule/ Shift Available: *1:00AM-9:30AM
*Yard Hostler Duties/Responsibilities:*
* Transport/move trailers to and from yard location.
* Maintain accurate reports and logs.
* Must maintain safe driving record.
* Ensuring compliance with applicable DOT, Company, State, and Federal policies/laws regarding traffic, safety, hours worked, and drugs and alcohol.
*Required Skills/Abilities:*
* *Must have yard goat/ jockey experience- 1 year preferred.*
* Must have excellent customer service skills, phone skills, and basic computer knowledge.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Job Requirements:*
* *Must posses a valid Class A CDL- (Required)*
* Must be able to complete a background check and pre-employment drug test.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must be U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license.
* Driving record with no more than 3 points.
* Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs at a time.
* Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
