- Position Purpose: This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care.
- Nature and Scope: This position is challenged to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
- This position requires a scientific knowledge base and ongoing growth and learning.
Job Details
- Experience Required: 2 years in LD - High Risk hospital.
- This position provides comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.
- Demonstrates the cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the population to be served and meets standards of quality as measured by the unit/department age specific competency standards.
Job Requirements
- Shift: Days
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: none
- May be required to float to other maternal units, PP and NICU.
- Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
- May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period.
- Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.
- Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
