Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Salem, MA

**Shift:** Nights, 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM (including weekends as needed)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 3 years
**License:** Active RN License in Massachusetts
**Certifications:** BLS, NRP, EFM (renewed every 2 years)
**Must-Have:** Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulating, and Newborn Care
**Job Description:**
- Join a 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit that includes:
- Labor & Delivery
- Postpartum
- Newborn Nursery
- 2 Operating Rooms
- 2 Antepartum Rooms
- Recovery Rooms
- Provide care in various unit roles with a clinician-to-patient ratio of:
- Labor & Delivery: 1:2-3 for evaluations, 1:1 during active labor, magnesium infusions, or with an epidural
- Postpartum: 1:3-4
- Care for diverse patient populations
- Operate in a unit with:
- 5 Labor & Delivery rooms
- 12 Postpartum rooms
- 2 Operating rooms
- 2 Recovery rooms
- 2 Antepartum units with 4 beds
- Average daily census of 15-25 mothers, babies, and labor cases
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system
- No floating required
- Prefer candidates with ACLS certification
Note: This position requires straight night shifts and one on-call night shift rotation.
