We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join the Distribution team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for order picking, truck loading and warehouse replenishments. The hours for this position will be Monday thru Friday, 10am - 6:30pm.
Major Responsibilities:
- Filling customer orders by picking (both case and pallets) from warehouse locations, ensuring correct product identification number, quantity and quality of product using RF Scanning device.
- Complete assigned loading tasks within a timely manner to meet customer delivery times. Responsible for loading product according to pallet load generated from the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Work with transportation to ensure product is loaded onto accurate trailer and that product is secure.
- Require operation of various types of power equipment to move products from reserve to active locations. Ensure active picking bin locations are stocked with proper products and needed quantities.
- Monitor use of equipment to ensure safety and report any unsafe conditions. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe always.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years' prior warehouse/distribution experience, preferably picking/packing/replenishment.
- Ability to operate heavy lifting equipment including, but not limited to, forklift; includes stand-up forklifts.
- Must be an excellent communicator and able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Must be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced role, especially during our busy season.
- Must have a high attention to detail.
- Must work well in a team environment and be willing to do what is needed to get the job done.
