Seeking a Residential Subscription Driver in Bossier City, LA, US to safely operate a heavy-duty truck, collecting household garbage within neighborhoods. Responsibilities include sharing driving responsibilities with another driver and emptying residential waste carts. If interested, apply now! Responsibilities: To succeed in this role, an individual must competently perform each essential task: • Adhere to assigned routes and complete all end-of-day paperwork and checkout procedures. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned equipment and log results in the DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report). • Drive the vehicle in compliance with Live Oak Environmental Company, LLC Safety Rules, OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. • Execute all tasks as assigned by the Operations Supervisor or Dispatch and provide assistance to other drivers as required to fulfill customer needs. • Participate in all mandatory training sessions, briefings, and meetings organized by Live Oak Environmental. • Promptly report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Operations Supervisor. • Inform the Operations Supervisor or Dispatch of any service interruptions, including obstructed containers, closed lots, streets, alleys, or potential safety hazards. • Inspect and report any containers that require repair or replacement. • Fill out and submit customer tickets as necessary. • Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to improve route efficiency and identify best practices. • Communicate customer requests to the Operations Supervisor or Dispatch. • Immediately report any unsafe conditions or service-related issues to the Operations Supervisor or Dispatch. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Education and Experience • Education: Not required. • Experience: Two (2) years (s) of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements • Hold a current Class A or B Commercial ‘Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement. • Must be at least 18 C. years of age. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required • Acceptable driving record required. • Legally eligible to work in the United States. • Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical. Work Environment • Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity. • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 50 pounds frequently. • Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting to 50 pounds. • Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS-monitored vehicle. • Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements most of the workday. Compensation: $22 hourly
