HopeWest PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) provides home care, access to the day center and clinic, transportation to and from medical appointments, activities, and so much more to enhance the lives of the participants and their families. Through this innovative new program called PACE, we balance the medical, emotional, physical, and social needs with care that allows each participant the opportunity to stay safely in the place they call home.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
Our Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of participants to and from the day center, their homes, and outside medical appointments. This position communicates with the other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure any concerns or issues are addressed by the appropriate team member. Our drivers are also responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness standards for their vehicles.
What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Safe Driving Record which must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must meet and maintain eligibility under the HopeWest driving requirement policy and motor vehicle insurance.
• Experience as a driver preferred.
• Current or obtains Passenger Service and Safety (PASS) Driver Certification, maintains throughout employment
• Valid Colorado driver's license, maintained throughout employment.
• Adequate computer skills, experience with Microsoft office products.
• Current CPR certification is maintained throughout employment.

• Competitive pay starting at $19.00- $19.50 per hour, depending on experience.
• Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm schedule
