What You'll Get To Do
- Operate excavator to load haul trucks in pit area
- Conduct daily safety inspections and complete required paperwork
- Efficiently clear overburden ahead of mining operation
- Assist in relocating pit pumps
- Perform daily preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipment
- Monitor equipment for any unusual signs and report to supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum four years of equipment operating experience
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to operate equipment for long periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
