Transportation Driver

$24.00 - $28.00
JOB SUMMARY:
Transport residents to and from hospitals and nursing homes. Must be comfortable with the elderly and/or vulnerable population.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating the facility's transport bus or van in a safe manner to and from community hospitals
• Ensures the bus is clean and available to transport residents and patients daily
• Work with Sapphire nursing home admission teams to coordinate resident transportation for the day
• Assisting residents on and off the bus and into and out of appointments safely
• Being friendly and professional at all times; interacts well with residents, care providers and co-workers. Understands they represent Sapphire Health Services and always demonstrates integrity and a positive outlook
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Oregon state driver's license that is unexpired and in good standing
• Preferred experience driving a transport bus, Large Van, or similar vehicle
• Valid Oregon CNA license is preferred
