Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Los Angeles, CA

**Certifications:** ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS, NRP
**Must-Have:** Experience with c-sections, advanced fetal monitoring, and familiarity with medications like pitocin, mag sulfate, and insulin drips. Travel experience is preferred.
**Job Description:**
- Work in a unit with 11 L&D beds and 8 triage beds, managing high-risk pregnancies such as blood pressure issues, multiples, diabetes, no prenatal care, and substance abuse.
- Attend an average of 3,300 births annually, following AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios.
- Utilize Fetal Link for fetal monitoring and Cerner as the EMR.
- Assist as a charge nurse and take on patient assignments when necessary.
- Collaborate with OB Techs who assist with c-sections, triage, and stock supplies.
- Participate in a 30-minute response time call requirement and work one major and one minor holiday.
- Wear provided scrub color and work with Nihon Kohden telemetry; no ventilators.
- Benefit from 24/7 in-house OB/neonatologist support, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services.
- Float to antepartum as needed.
- Undergo a comprehensive orientation with three shifts specific to the unit.
- Engage with a robust team in California's 13th largest birth center setting.
