Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Albany, GA

**Must-Have:**
- 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
- Travel nursing experience
- Certifications as listed
**Job Description:**
- Enforce a strict 72-mile radius rule.
- Work in a unit with 12 labor beds, 5 antepartum beds, and 2 operating rooms.
- Maintain a triage area with an OB emergency room that has 6 beds.
- Support handling of 150-200 births per month.
- Follow AWHONN fetal monitoring guidelines.
- Utilize the MEDITECH 6.1 charting system.
- Provide care in a trauma-level acute setting.
- Join a team with experienced Charge Nurses and OB techs.
- Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and OB hospitalists available 24/7.
- Work every other weekend and rotate holidays with permanent staff.
- Participate in floor-specific orientation over 2 shifts.
- Assist with high-risk and routine OB patients, antepartum care, and hospital processes.
- Engage in a baby-friendly environment with in-house lactation support.
- Floating as needed to the post-partum area.
**Additional Notes:**
- Scrub color provided by the hospital.
- No vent management required.
- 24/7 access to pharmacy and RT.
- OR techs handle c-sections, attend vaginal deliveries, and perform stocking duties.
- Participate in a team-oriented environment with strong support from OB technicians and nursing aides.
