Staffmark is looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Myerstown, PA. If you have forklift experience and are ready to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this is the opportunity for you!
Pay: $16.75/hr
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Occasional mandatory overtime)
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products in and out of the warehouse. You'll work closely with team members to ensure productivity and safety while following all company procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, following safety policies.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports.
- Check product on inbound/outbound to ensure accuracy and no damage.
- Use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance.
- Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections.
- Collaborate with other warehouse associates to meet goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of forklift operating experience.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust the schedule as needed.
- Experience with RF equipment is a plus.
- Warehouse experience in a high-volume environment; experience in a food-grade, refrigerated warehouse helpful is a plus.
- Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS is a plus.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
