CDL Class B Rear Load Residential Driver/Toter

*Job description:*

A Class B (or A) CDL Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a rear-load collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes to pick up solid waste from residential customers . You will be responsible for ensuring your vehicle is in compliance with DOT and the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes driver vehicle condition reports (“DVIR”) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner. Must be able to climb, stand, kneel, sit, ex..for long periods of time.

*Responsibilities include:*
* Safely driving and completing residential routes. Performing duties as assigned by their supervisor or dispatch. Assisting employees with the collection and loading of residential waste materials, as well as the transporting of this waste to designated Transfer Station.
* Perform Pre and Post Trip inspections, complete DVIRs and other paperwork.
* Conduct operations in a safe manner and in accordance with the
Department of Transportation’s regulations, and Wall Recycling's guidelines
* Communicate with customers and other employees.
* Work with their local supervisor and attend meetings (safety/ operational).

*Minimum Qualifications*:
* Must have a Class A or B CDL and good driving record.
* Must Have up to date DOT Medical Card
* Comply with Wall Recycling's drug free workplace policy.

*Physical requirements may include:*
* Pushing, pulling, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.
* Climbing in and out of a truck.
* Can be exposed to outdoor environment during the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 per week

Experience:
* CDL B Driving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
