Delivery Driver

We are looking for a new full-time delivery driver as we look to expand in 2024. The primary responsibility of this position is delivering building materials and maintaining the equipment; however, since we are a small business, there will be overlap with other positions.

DUTIES:

Verify load against shipping papers.

Provide Outstanding Customer Service and always represent the business with a professional appearance and demeanor.

Unload shipment utilizing safe unloading practices and knowledge of construction sites.

Collect payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges if not prepaid.

Maintain contact with Sales team to receive delivery instructions.

Inspect truck equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.

Daily Maintenance Inspection.

Build loads, stock lumber, load customers, and plan future loads when not actively on deliveries.

Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices.

Must have a clean driving record.

For-Hire endorsement or Class B CDL

Lifting required up to 80lbs.

Willingness to work outdoors in the heat or in the cold.
