Job Details
- The right candidate will have two years' experience
- Must have experience with C-sections
- Must have computer charting experience, preferably Cerner
- Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 attempts)
- Will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
Job Requirements
- Shifts: Nights 1900-0700
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Call or standby required? No, it is voluntary
Schedule Information
- Unit: Labor and Delivery
- # beds: 18 LDRP’s, 14 bed OB triage, 8 bed Antepartum
- Average deliveries: 8-10/day
- # OR suites on the unit for C-sections: 2 fully equipped ORs
- Certs: ACLS, BLS and NRP
- Ratios: Unit attempts to follow AWHONN guidelines
- EMR: Cerner
- EFM System: Fetal Link
- Nurse Aides: No
- Holidays: Would love coverage on Holiday’s
- Scrub Color: Blue
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Anesthesia in house 24/7?: Yes
- RT Equipment: RT covers this
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Required to titrate drips? Yes, Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate per protocol
- Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Laboring or preterm pregnant patients
Unit Specific Information
- COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval
- Facility will conduct a phone interview prior to profile review
- Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% with 2 max attempts
- Pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation with study guides provided
