WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE & DELIVERY DRIVER

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive short and long distances to deliver feed product to customers on time
• Load and unload product
• Pre-inspection of truck
• Record all deliveries
• Refuel and clean vehicle
• Report road incidents to the dispatcher
• Obeys all traffic laws
• Inspect trucks and record issues
• Follow accident procedures
• Keep activities log and log hours
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel
• Plan routes using GPS system
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers
• Keep commercial driver license up to date

WAREHOUSE DUTIES:

• Stock weekly delivery of non-feed products
• Rotate before & after feed trailers shipments
• Make sure bagging area stays clean, neat, and orderly including emptying and stacking open bales of product
• Maintain cleanliness and product is orderly in warehouse
• Responsible for housekeeping and light maintenance duties within the warehouse light maintenance of warehouse
• Load customers correctly
• Within Store, stock products and maintain store cleanliness
• Maintain and update signage of storefront
• Perform day-end closing tasks in store and warehouse
• Maintain outside building and grounds

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Valid and current Class B CDL
• Traffic laws/DOT regulations/driving knowledge
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements
• Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment screening
• Must provide a current MVR and have a clean driving record
• Must provide a current medical certificate
