About the Role

The Senior Technology Lead, HR Service Delivery role will be perfect for someone with extensive experience in management, development, and execution of HR Service Delivery strategies related to processes and platforms and internally built applications within the space. You will be owning, leading, and developing HRSD product strategy, roadmap, and delivery. You will do so by partnering with various stakeholders: People Operation partners, Software Engineering, Application Engineering, Data, Legal, and other Core HR functions.

What the Candidate Will Do:

  • Co-lead the HR Service Delivery roadmap, by diving deep into the People org needs, as well as business challenges and understanding how HRSD tooling can be helpful.
  • Manage a team responsible for existing technical services and the ongoing development and implementation of new solutions and processes within the HR Service Delivery ecosystem.
  • Support and influence the HRSD strategy that incorporates reliability and security principles in alignment with the company goals.
  • Build trust and foster relationships with P&P and IT stakeholders, driving technology design initiatives and overall employee experience.
  • Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are followed to meet security and compliance requirements across all systems as well as taking into consideration data governance.
  • Determine, maintain, and regularly report on success metrics that measure the operational health, performance, effectiveness and efficiency of the systems & tools the team is responsible for delivering.
  • Demonstrate hands-on technical depth that enables system governance, technical problem-solving, and oversight of complex integrated architecture to support our internal employee productivity tools.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize workloads against available resources, level of impact, and desired business impact.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in ServiceNow or similar tools.
  • Superb communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex multi-functional projects.
  • Experience with SaaS Talent tooling as well as supporting home grown tools.
  • Self-starter attitude - you boldly pursue your work and love the responsibility of being personally empowered.
  • Curiosity - you're innovative, creative, and constantly looking for opportunities to tweak and optimize.

Salary Information:

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$176,000 per year - USD$195,500 per year.

For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$176,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link .
