Delivery Truck Driver

Position Details:

• Average effective hourly rate after training $38/hour
• 4 day work week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 2:00 AM - Noon, flexible start and end times
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Position Purpose:

Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the country's food supply chain. They ensure timely delivery and build lasting customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally
• Perform safety checks and inspections according to Department of Transportation regulations
• Report safety issues and required repairs
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
• Deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
• Collect payment where required
• Complete daily record of hours of service in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
• Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and trailers
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualification:

• 12 months commercial driving experience
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent
• Valid CDL A and 21 years of age
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Valid current DOT Health Card
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight
