Freezer Driver- Receiving - 1st Shift

Description
This position is primarily responsible for the safe operation of a double reach forklift as well as a variety of additional lift trucks to move materials and products within the distribution center.
Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Certified to operate a double reach forklift
• Adhere to all safety and OHA guidelines while operating lift equipment
• US RF scanner to input data into warehouse management system
• Operate a forklift in an array of surroundings and multi temperature settings (.-10 degree-40 degree)
• Put away, transfer, retrieve, pick and deliver materials in storage
• Unload and load pallets from inbound trailers
• Pick and stack cartons onto a pallet for individual or store orders
• Use RF scanner to pull accurate SKUs and quantities
• Comply with all SQF (Safe quality foods) standards
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6+ month of previous forklift experience on similar equipment.
• Basic reading (English) and math skills
• Previous inventory scanning experience required
• Able to stand, walk, twist and reach for entire 8-10 hour shift
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Able to work in heights as assigned
• Able to successfully complete pre-employment screening and training class
• Able to work in an out of cold storage -10 to 40 degrees
