Job Purpose :
Transport consumers of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services to and from medical appointments, social events, and other activities.
Major Responsibilities:
The TRED Driver works under the supervision of the TRED Coordinator.

Transport consumers of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services to and from medical appointments, social events, and other activities.
Major Responsibilities:
- Safely transport adult consumers of the DMHAS to and from scheduled destinations within the Greater Torrington area in an EdAdvance vehicle.
- Maintain schedules, adheres to established routes and contributes to scheduling decisions to increase efficiency and/or safety.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, service logs, and accident/incident reports, as necessary.
- Maintain general cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicle and report any problems to the TRED Coordinator.
- Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
The TRED Driver works under the supervision of the TRED Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid CT driver's license and insurance; conviction and accident free driving record.
