Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Hackensack, NJ

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery (L&D) CWR
**Job Duration:** 22 weeks
**Shift:** Night - 3x12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years in L&D; recent experience required; at least 6 months of L&D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred
**License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
**Certifications:** BLS-AHA
**Preferred Certifications:** ACLS, Advanced AWHONN or EFM
**Must-Have:** EPIC experience preferred; Either AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced) or NCC in electronic fetal monitoring preferred
**Job Description:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessment based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manage patient care.
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Schedule Notes:**
- 13-week schedule.
- Required: Work every other weekend and holidays, no on-call duties.
