Overview
The Enterprise Vehicle Acquisitions Division has an immediate opening for a Full Time Temporary DOT Driver. Our Truck Rental Division provides transportation solutions within the commercial truck industry, renting business to business. Our goal is to provide high service levels and clean, well - maintained trucks.
This position pays $15 / hour and is located at 6255 Siegen Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
This is a Temporary position with employment ending after 90 days and requires a Louisiana Class D (Chauffeur License)
This position does not allow for moonlighting - no other paid employment while working for Enterprise
The Available Schedule:
Sunday: Off
Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday: Off
The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service. Candidates will also be asked to drive Vehicles that require DOT certifications.
Responsibilities
The Driver is responsible for the transporting of medium duty trucks, cargos and heavy duty pickup trucks to and from rental locations, dealerships and vendors, as well as navigating written directions.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles.
Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone.
May be asked to clean vehicles.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Must have a current and valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past 3 years.
No drug or alcohol related convictions (i.e., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 5 years.
Louisiana Class D (Chauffeur License) required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment - based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future.
Temporary employees may work for up to 90 days.
DOT Requirements:
We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations.
Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination. No moonlighting is allowed (no other paid employment allowed).
